Congratulations for joining the warm CWU Music community where you are valued and cared for. One-on-one studio interaction with our professors is a unique experience that occurs on a weekly basis here at CWU throughout the academic year. Time is taken to not only hone your musical skills, but to enrich the broader spectrum of all that is involved in being a musician and sharing the beautiful art of music. Our faculty take the time to know you and embellish all you bring while enhancing and growing each student to reach their potential and beyond which the studio experience provides.
Over the years you spend in the Music department, your progression through this one-on-one attention as well as the many collaborative opportunities encouraged, can bring results that are astounding based upon the desire and efforts each student puts forth towards their growth. From freshman year to graduation, the immense evolution is the fruit of all the faculty and student invested labor and care throughout this phenomenal program. CWU Music leaves a lasting impact on the lives of those who pass through.
