Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Policy
When you accept your financial aid you are accepting the responsibility of meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards. Please review all of this information carefully. You are responsible for understanding these requirements

- 2023 - 2024 SAP Policy
- 2023-2024 SAP Appeal for Reinstatement - For students who have lost aid eligibility
- SAP Academic Plan - If requested by the Financial Aid Office
- 2023-24 Maximum Time Frame Appeal - For students who are at or near the maximum time frame for aid eligibility. FEDERAL & INSTITUTIONAL AID ONLY. State limits cannot be appealed.

- Note: Communication of Satisfactory Progress Status will be sent through your CWU Outlook email account and recorded on MyCWU.
- Email WARNINGS: Undergraduates may receive a warning by email at 225 attempted credits. Aid will be discontinued at 270 attempted credits. Post Baccalaureates and Graduates may receive a warning at 100 attempted credits; aid will be discontinued at 135 attempted credits.
- Contact Financial Aid for an adjustment if your particular degree requires more than the standard number of credits.
