The Unit of Health and Wellbeing
Within Student Engagement and Success, the Unit of Health and Wellbeing in made up of five departments that work closely together to address the entire holistic health of all students who attend CWU. Those departments include:
- Student Counseling Services
- Student Health Services
- Recreation
- Office of Health Promotion
- Office of Case Management
When all dimensions of student health are supported, it enhances the academic success of all CWU students. The Unit of Health and Wellbeing supports campus-wide initiatives like the implementation of the Dimensions of Wellbeing, the work of the Suicide Prevention Team, and its staff serve on many multidisciplinary teams across the university to ensure health and wellbeing is considered across all work.
24/7 Virtual Mental Health and Medical care of all CWU Students
TimelyCare is available to all enrolled CWU students, including online and all campus site students. TimelyCare provides on-demand and scheduled ongoing appointments all day, every day. You can access TimelyCare through their website or download their app. Use your MyCWU login information to register an account.
Suicide Prevention
Central Washington University takes all concerns for student health and safety seriously. The Suicide Concern Report is monitored Monday- Friday, 8am to 5pm. For immediate help, contact 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
