CWU Bands

As part of the music department, you'll have the opportunity to participate in bands, choirs, and orchestras that represent the heart and soul of the community. Picture yourself standing shoulder to shoulder with fellow musicians in the grand orchestra, your bow moving in unison with others, the powerful symphony reverberating in the hall. You may find yourself in the dynamic rhythm of the marching band, where the thrill of performance and teamwork blend into a high-energy musical experience. Perhaps you will lend your voice to the choir, a tapestry of harmonious melodies where each individual voice weaves into a beautiful whole. These ensembles offer not just an opportunity to perform, but to grow as a musician, learning the nuanced art of collaboration and communication. They are where you'll learn to listen, to lead, to blend, and most importantly, to share in the creation of something larger than yourself. This is the essence of being a part of the bands, choirs, and orchestras in the music department. It's more than just playing notes on a page; it's about creating music that touches hearts and moves souls.
