About Anthropology and Museum Studies

Highlights
The Museum of Culture and Environment
The Museum of Culture and Environments offers a dynamic and inclusive place where ideas, perspectives, and the newest research are shared. From the Touring the Solar System exhibit featuring a campus-wide map of the solar system to the Puzzle Room loaded with actors, monsters, and plot twists, the Museum of Culture and Environment is definitely a place to visit.
The Mammoth Project
Excavated with the collaborative effort of students and faculty, the Wenas Creek Mammoth Project is a CWU scientific investigation of mammoth bones found on private land in Central Washington. Join us as we continue to learn more about life 17,000 years ago as lab analyses are completed and reported. For more information, check out our Mammoth Dig.
